Jeff Abrams is a Class A Pro and our Head Instructor and Amye King is our Program Coordinator. Between these 2 dedicated individuals we schedule

The use of our local driving ranges
Ensure we have certified instructors
Fit each child with a set of FREE golf clubs (to KEEP!) courtesy of Wilson golf
Prepare snacks for the kids and parents

The Beaufort Charities Clubs for Kids program is a philanthropic organization designed to provide local kids of all backgrounds the tools to play golf, teach them how to use the tools of golf, and offer them access to play golf.

Junior Golf Mission Statement

Clubs for Kids began in 2014 as a junior golf program in Beaufort County that would promote golf to kids of all backgrounds. To achieve this goal we rallied our staffing resources and spheres of influence to engage people interested in promoting junior golf as a game that affects kids' lives for the better.

in 9 years, we have accomplished

✅Distributed 850+ FREE sets of clubs to kids in Beaufort County between the ages of 6-12.

✅Hosted 60+ FREE golf clinics for kids in the Clubs for Kids program.

✅Provided FREE golf passes at the local public golf courses for kids in the Clubs for Kids program.

✅Donated funds to the Northern Beaufort County Public and Private school golf teams.

✅Sponsored the 1st Annual Fripp Island Beaufort Charities Junior Classic with 75+ kids participating.

✅Worked in conjunction with Secession Golf Club to identify three juniors to have access to high level practice facilities, resulting in 2 kids to date receiving full college golf scholarships.

While these accomplishments are significant, it is just the beginning

Our initial goal ”To provide kids the tools to play golf, teach them how to use the tools of golf, and offer them access to play golf.” according to Christian Sherbert evolved to be a bi-monthly interactive clinic with the kids who want to work at excelling in golf and need the tools to do so. Our BC Junior Play Days clinics are held every other week to work on:

Golf etiquette
Basics of the golf swing
Understanding how to score and play the game

Currently, this program is 100% funded by The Beaufort Charities. The demand we are finding is exciting. Our program is designed to reach ALL kids from various backgrounds.

Our clinics group of kids consist of:

12 kids per clinic as this is the most any local facility can host
50%+ female golfers
65%+ minority golfers
